charming stay near parks and historic landmarks for weekend walkers
i had a lovely stay in a stunning area with beautiful views, and the hotel’s proximity to norwich castle and the beautiful eaton park made my city strolls feel like a delightful adventure. as a solo traveler, i found the room very comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything i needed for a cozy retreat, but i did notice a mild drains smell in the bathroom that could be addressed.

pleasant stay but some room for improvement
The manageress was very understanding and addressed our needs with kindness. We enjoyed a lovely meal that was well-prepared, and the heated pool gave my wife great joy.
The room could have used a bit more attention to detail.

Just a decent option for a passing visit in Norwich with attractive and competitive value for money. The shower had a great water pressure which was refreshing after a long day. Bring your own refreshments as there was no small fridge in the room.

Not the stay we hoped for
We thought it would be a lovely getaway, but found used tissues under the bed and a cold room! The shower was tricky, almost too hot! At least breakfast was decent with a helpful dude serving us. Honestly, felt more like a flop than a stay.

Ideal for a quiet getaway
The staff were incredibly helpful, especially when I needed assistance with a situation I stumbled into with a voucher, they came through for me when I really needed it. The room was not just comfortable but came with all the little amenities you'd expect, like tea and hot chocolate, which made it feel quite homely and welcoming.
It was a bit pricey, but acceptable for the level of comfort and service we got.
